Babylon Ain’t That Bad

In this sermon, Pastor Darrison Tellez explores God's unexpected guidance and promises even in challenging circumstances, using the exile of the Israelites to Babylon as a metaphor.

Drawing from Jeremiah 29, he emphasizes that despite being in a place of hardship, we can still thrive, build, and find purpose as we trust in God's unwavering plans for our prosperity and hope.

Pastor Darrison encourages the congregation to seek God’s peace in any "Babylon" they may face, reminding them that God’s promises are steadfast and that even in exile, blessings and purpose can be found.

Ultimately, he assures listeners that God will not abandon them in Babylon and that their trials are temporary, leading to fulfillment in His good timing.
