Who WE Are
Impact Church is not just a church; it's a movement. Founded on the vision of making an eternal impact, our community is driven by sacrificial faith and radically dangerous dreams. What began as a bible study for the Arizona Cardinals NFL Team was opened to the public 13 years ago and quickly grew to become one of the fastest growing churches in the nation. With next level worship sets and life-changing bible-based teachings streamed live from the heart of North Scottsdale, AZ, we are known for diversity, authenticity, and throwing a huge party celebrating Jesus each weekend!
Our Mission
At Impact Church, our mission is clear:
More people will go to heaven when they die, and fewer people will go through hell while they live.
Rooted in the Great Commission, our goal is to win souls and make disciples, impacting lives for eternity.
Our VIsion
Our vision extends far beyond the walls of our church. We take action faithfully to create a ripple effect for God's kingdom, spreading across the world as we continue to grow and expand. We aim to become a beacon of light and path back to Christ, not only for the entire Phoenix Valley but for communities all over the world.
Our Leadership
At the helm of Impact Church's visionary leadership stand individuals who embody passion, dedication, and a deep commitment to God's calling. Together, they inspire and guide our community with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Pastor Travis Hearn, the Senior Pastor of Impact Church, leads with a dynamic blend of passion and purpose. With over a decade of pastoral experience, Pastor Travis spearheads the vision of Impact Church, drawing from his multifaceted background in ministry and sports chaplaincy as the Team Pastor for the NBA's Phoenix Suns and formerly as a team chaplain for the NFL as well as Major and Minor League Baseball for over a decade.
Alongside him stands his wife, Pastor Natalie, a cornerstone of strength and grace within our church community. Together, they bring over 25 years of collective ministry experience and a heart for nurturing spiritual growth and relational depth. As devoted parents to their three children - Kylie, Josiah, and Jazzlyn - the Hearns exemplify a legacy of faith, love, and servant leadership.
Pastor Travis is also an accomplished author, including a three volume set of ‘30: A 30 – Day Journey With God’. His insightful writings offer spiritual nourishment and guidance to anyone seeking a deeper connection with God. Our Beliefs
-
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. The Bible is God’s Word and our manual for everyday living. We believe in and practice daily Bible reading, Bible study, and Bible memorization.
-
We believe there is one God, and God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and are one God.
-
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is coequal with the Father. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
-
We believe the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.
-
Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
-
We believe and practice baptism by immersion underwater – the way Jesus was baptized. After accepting Christ as Lord, we do not believe any reason exists to wait to be baptized.
-
We believe that spirit-led living thrives as we daily surrender our souls to Jesus. The same way we became a Christian—by grace through faith—is the same way we continue as a Christian. When we walk in the Spirit we are empowered to bear the fruit of the Spirit.
-
We believe tithing (giving God 10% of all we earn) to be a commandment of the Bible. We practice tithing for the support of Christ’s body, the church, as God commands.
“So that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.” Philippians 2:15
About our logo
While the Cross is a global and eternal representation of what Jesus did for us, the Star represents what we do for Him. Jesus calls us to shine like “stars in the sky”, and that’s the goal of Impact Church.
