My Light in the Dark

In this special Christmas Eve sermon, Pastor Travis reflects on the founding of Impact Church, emphasizing its mission to shine as a beacon of hope in a dark world.

Drawing from Philippians 2:15 and Matthew 5:14-16, he connects the imagery of stars and light with the transformative power of Jesus, the Light of the World.

The message highlights three areas where Jesus brings light into our lives: emotional darkness, offering peace amidst struggles like anxiety and despair; relational darkness, healing broken relationships and offering forgiveness; and spiritual darkness, bridging the gap caused by sin and bringing us closer to God.

Through personal stories, biblical examples, and heartfelt encouragement, the sermon reminds listeners to embrace Christ’s light, shine brightly for others, and find hope in His promises, even in life’s darkest moments.

The service concludes with the powerful symbolism of candlelight, reflecting the glory of Jesus as our eternal light.
