Take the important step of publicly acknowledging your faith in Jesus Christ and your commitment to follow Him.
Publicly Declare Your Faith
Water baptism serves as a visible declaration of an internal transformation. It publicly affirms your inward faith, providing tangible proof of the spiritual rebirth experienced through faith in Jesus Christ.
Water baptism isn't merely a decision. It is a divine commandment for all who believe in Him and love the Lord.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
MATTHEW 28:19
Baptism will be offered on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th at our North Scottsdale and North Phoenix locations.

Baptism is a sacred practice reserved for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior (Mark 16:15–16; Acts 8:12, 36–38; 16:31–33; 18:8). It's a beautiful expression of faith and commitment to Christ.

Following Peter's sermon at Pentecost, those who eagerly embraced his message were baptized (Acts 2:41). Throughout the New Testament, baptism is consistently linked with adult believers. In line with Scripture, we don’t baptize infants at Impact Church, as they cannot comprehend and receive the Word of God. Instead, infants are to be dedicated to the Lord, as seen in the example of Samuel (1 Samuel 1:26–28). Children, upon understanding and embracing God's Word, may choose to be baptized. If you are interested in participating in an upcoming infant dedication, please email info@impactchurch.com or call our office at (480) 926-6752 and we’ll be happy to provide all the details and sign you up.

The Bible emphasizes that our salvation is a result of God's grace, received through faith and His mercy (Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5). Consider the thief beside Jesus, who, lacking the chance for baptism, was assured of a place in Paradise that day (Luke 23:43). It's notable that there's no record of Jesus baptizing anyone, which would seem odd if baptism were necessary for salvation. As Paul states, his primary mission was to share the gospel, highlighting that salvation stems from faith, not baptism (1 Corinthians 1:17). Thus, while water baptism symbolizes obedience, it's not a prerequisite for salvation.
